What's in a tune-up
A real maintenance visit, not a glance-and-go
- Clean condenser and evaporator coils (the #1 efficiency killer in Boca)
- Check and adjust refrigerant pressures
- Test capacitors, contactors, relays
- Inspect blower motor and amperage
- Flush and treat condensate drain line
- Calibrate thermostat and verify operation in all modes
- Inspect ductwork connections at the air handler
- Replace standard 1" filter (specialty filters extra)
- Write a full performance report and photo any issues
Plan on 60–90 minutes per system. Most issues we catch at this stage cost $50–$200 to fix — versus $500–$2,000 when they break in August.
